Diagnostic Services

The David Thompson Health Region delivers health services and programs in the Central Alberta region through 42 hospitals, community health centres,and continuing care centres. There are over 350 practicing physicians in the region ensuring a full range of health care including acute and continuing care.

The City of Red Deer has a full-time employed Fire Department /Emergency Services force that provides 911 emergency dispatch services to the region. Central Alberta communities have full-time and / or volunteer fire departments willing to cooperate with investors on emergency services issues.

Education & Training

Canadian University College, Olds College and Red Deer College offer a broad range of technical and academic programming, and post-secondary courses that are in high demand in the workforce.

The region’s rich cultural diversity is a result of the growing number of immigrants calling Central Alberta home.

Recreation Opportunities

Central Alberta offers a variety of arts, culture, heritage, entertainment and recreation experiences. Outdoor recreational opportunities are endless among the region’s beautiful lakes, natural green spaces, badlands, parks, rivers and rolling hills.
